My installation work "Die Pflanze der Demokratie hegen"/"Nurturing the Plant of Democracy" —realized as part of the "Kunst findet Stadt" /" Art Finds the City" exhibition project in Rheinbach (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany)—was honored by the jury of the City of Rheinbach.
The installation (two chairs and a table with a green plant) explores the foundations of democracy. Two chairs of equal status represent differing opinions and perspectives, while the table symbolizes dialogue and the search for shared solutions. The plant represents democracy itself, which requires care, commitment, and responsibility to grow and endure. The work invites reflection on the prerequisites for respectful and peaceful coexistence.
