My video work “isolate” is part of the presentation of The New Museum of Networked Art at TRYST
TRYST at Torrance Art Museum
27-29 October 2023@
Del Amo Crossing, 21535 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA, USA
curator Wilfried Agricola De Cologne
TRYST is the world's largest international art fair for artist run initiatives featuring painting sculpture, video art, installation art and more from over 60 international artist-run spaces
The New Museum for Networked Art is an international, English-language (non-profit) initiative for art and new media based in Cologne/Germany - is led and curated by the media artist and curator Agricola de Cologne.
The presentation of The New Museum of Networked Art at TRYST - 27-29 October 2023 - does present the museum as a cross-platform, internationally active initiative with the selection of 6 of its projects realized since 2005, which represent all the other projects that have been realized to date. The loop presentation would like to give an impression of the current focus on art with moving images and the global networking activities with the diversity of artistic and curatorial concepts that the museum stands for, using not complete videos, but rather representative excerpts of different lengths in order to underline the concepts of the presented projects.

(opening exhibition on October 7th, 2023, at at 6 pm.)
Arts Connection Foundation Gallery, 676 NW 23 St, Miami, FL 33127, USA
Art can be a powerful tool for healing. It can help to express emotions, connect with others, and find meaning in difficult times. New media art can inspire artists and members of the community, to find a common ground and take action to make a difference in the world.
Our world is facing many changes, from climate change to political instability. After the pandemic, war, violence, discrimination, and intolerance, still are on the streets, on a daily basis. The festival wants to show that in times like these, it is more important than ever to find ways to come together and take care of our body, mind, and spirit. This year’s Miami New Media Festival (MNMF) as an event with in-person (indoor and outdoor), and online activities
The festival wants to gather and share new media artworks and performances, that help to reflect and get the better of this difficult time.
Consequently, the MNMF is presenting video artworks of international artist about their thoughts on Global Healing.
