" View behind the curtain" is part of The Ashes of Eden project which is a joint work with Jana Schmück (Bautzen)The concept of the project is based on isolating, cataloguing, analyzing and studying in detail these site-specific themes or objects. Deepening the context they are in, how they differ from one place to another, urban/rural and social settings, neighborhoods or communities. How autonomous are the spaces or objects of a region and how are they related and interconnected?

You're looking out the window. It's the last snow you'll see. will you leave? will you taste it? Is it easier now to enjoy than at the bus stop it was so cold. Now you know it's the last snow. And at last you have to value it.
Because there will be no more winter. Someday winter will come and it will be the last one. How will you know that it is this the last one?

Almost half of the project schedule has expired. After a bit of an arduous start, the Land Art object and audiovisual elements of the project are now starting to take shape after a while.
The rural environment and the manor give the opportunity to create audio visual material outside of an indoor studio or location. The vast wide and quiet emptiness of landscape gives you a new view for try and work outs not only for a land art object but also for video and performance pieces. However as this a public museum park you still have the chance to interact with the visitors to the art park

The red flag for start a project.
During the whole month of May 2023 I will be engaged with a new interdisciplinary project at Pedvale Art Park in Sabile, Latvia. I will be working in the fields of Land Art, sound, video and performance. This Project will be a bit distinguished from most previous projects which were in general created in collaboration with others. This time no collaboration will be involved. It is more an individual site specific project related to the environments around Pedvale… nature, space, sound, the manor, and the objects which are within.

Two works of mine the photo work “Alex & Anna I” and the video work “A Touch of Eros” were chosen for the Open Nights Festival Vol.8 in the city of Larissa, Greece.This years festival themes are “Eros” and “Timeless Readings of Love” which is a parallel project
The main part of festival will take place between 4th and 12th of May 2023 but certain exhibitions will continue until 30th of October 2023 under the "Timeless Readings of Love" theme . The festival takes place a different venues among others: Diachronic Musem, Folklore Historical Museum of Larissa, Literary Corner, and outside space
