Four of my video works are represented in the exhibition.

For the 175th anniversary, Pulchri Studio is organizing an anniversary exhibition this October divided into three subject areas : past, present and future of Pulchri Studio. We highlight these three components in three different exhibitions in the impressive upstairs rooms.

The future theme will be imagined as a B.Y.O.B. event. For this Pulchri invited and selected artists (members and non-members) who work with (digital) film, video, projections, beamers, light or music visuals to beam their work in the Weissenbruch Room. Pulchri Studio looks out for an explosion of images, colors and impressions.

(During Museum Night The Hague on October 8, 2022, Pulchri Studio will draw extra attention to this event and visitors to museum night can project their own works of art in our galleries as a temporary addition to these artists.

Participating artists are: Gabriela Acha, Haoua Amadou, Vita Buivid, Danny Choi, Lara Deutz, Joyce Ennik, Johannes Gerard, Lia Harkes, Samantha Rees, Inge Reisberman, Ana Priscila Rodriguez, Rafael Roozendaal, Sona Sahakian and Brigitte Spiegeler.

During Museum Night The Hague on October 8, 2022, Pulchri Studio will draw extra attention to this event and visitors to museum night can project their own works of art in the galleries as a temporary addition to these artists.

Sunday the 11^th of September 2022 I performed my second performance at the IMAF 2022. The second part of the festival took part during the weekend of 11 and 12^th September 2022 at the SULUV Gallery,(Union of Associations of Fine Artists of Vojvodina) Novi Sad, Serbia.

The concept of my second performance was based on the concept of a dialogue that comes to nothing and failed The performance was accompanied by alienated sound elements and fragments of dialogues.

IMAF 2022 “ improvised"

 IMAF 2022 International Multi Art Festival 09.09-11.09.2022 Odzaci and Novi Sad, Serbia.

On 9 September I performed an “ improvised performance” during the first day of the live performance part of the IMAF 2022 at the old abandoned motel in Odzaci, Serbia.

I had planned first to perform my performance Dialogue which is based on a totally different concept. However when I saw the building for the first time in the morning I changed completly my idea and concept for my performance in the afternoon. One reason was the opportunities the building offers. The second reason was that the performance I had planned would be very difficult to present in this building.

I decided to go into a dialogue with the building were creating sound and noise would play a very important role. As well the performance didn't had a fix stage but was moving up and down with in the building. As props I only used small two twigs, pine cones and objects found inside the building.

September 3rd and 8th, 2022.

At the beginning of this year, when we launched an open competition for the online program, the pandemic is expected to subside, which awakens new optimism. However, at the same time, a crisis in international political relations, on the soil of Eastern Europe, is becoming current. There is an aggression of the Russian military forces on Ukraine and, unfortunately, war. In such a very complicated international situation, the topic of an open competition for online video works comes to mind. We give the name "No Pandemic - No War" which is a reflection of our wish that by the beginning of the 24th International Festival of Multimedia Arts - IMAF 2022, both of these crisis events, which are very difficult for humanity, will end. 30 video works, 37 artists from 18 countries around the world, were selected at the competition for the online presentation of video works, entitled "No Pandemic - No War". The online presentation of video works, on the official YouTube channel of the IMAF festival, will be realized between September 3rd and 8th, 2022.

About my video in times of...

There are different ways of waiting. It feels different to wait for better times, in order to get a perspective yourself, in comparison to waiting for a solution to find justice or peace, yet to arrive. Sometimes waiting does not seem to have an ending and feels like a burden and other times, we sink into our own thoughts, until we forget that we are waiting at all. Aren't we always waiting for something? Waiting for better times, for peace or for tomorrow? And every time it feels different: Are we waiting for something else or are we waiting in our thoughts somewhere else?
