"Meeting
Your Land"
My
video work "Fields Of Home" will be presented as part of
"Meeting Your Land"—an international group exhibition of
photography and video held at multiple locations—from 3 - 25
October 2026, in the towns of Zafferana, Pedara, Viagrande, and Milo,
all situated in the Mount Etna region of Sicily (Italy).
Meeting
Your Land is a multi-venue collective exhibition by artists working
with eco-embodied, site- responsive, and place-based
methodologies.
Images
and videos will be shown across multiple venues in the province of
Catania, in various villages located between the sea and the Etna
Volcano, transforming the territory into a living exhibition
space.
Through
this encounter, the exhibition fosters shared ways of sensing and
inhabiting land, cultivating connections between artists, audiences,
and the living environments they engage with, while opening a
reflective space attuned to the vitality, textures, and stories of
both near and distant terrains.
By
gathering and connecting artworks rooted in diverse territories, the
exhibition becomes a meeting of geographies, sensuous vocabularies,
and embodied perspectives resonating with one another, thus viting
audiences to sense, inhabit, and reflect upon both near and distant
lands
