Day 4 Workshop 

Now after day four past, four girls will be performing sequences from the workshop in form of a short performance. This will happend on Thursday, September 21th at 19.00 h in front of  the Culture Center in Rokiskis. Even the arrangements where not easy and a number of problems had to be solve, we could do a rehersal at the end. For a better unterstanding and communication , I made step plan in form of sketches how they should stand and move. Also I gave much more guidance more than usually.This visual tool and more strict guidance help quiet a lot during the rehersal.

At day three I worked again with a new group. Five students between 14-16year old. They followed the same steps as the previous groups. However this group needed more guidance then the others groups before them. But it is very interesting to see the different approachs  and ideas each group developes during the workshop.

Startas takes place for the first time and focus on Video Art, Video Performance, Dance and Performance.

In conjunction with the festival I conduct my Social Sculpture Workshop/Performance Unfolding / Unwrapping. Nevertheless this time the difference is that workshop runs over several days. At the present I am working with two small groups of student between 12-14 years old and 15-17 years old. The goal is to present with the participants a public performance using sequences from the workshop. The performance itself is planned for 21^th of September in the evening at 19.00 h

However not everytime things go smooth and on the first day several problems occured. The group was relative large, but the main problem was the age difference between the students was to wide. Then further on, part of the students got wrong information beforehand about what the workshop is. So they felt a bit lost. I solve problems the following way. To the group of students who felt lost in the workshop I simply told them to feel free to come or to go. Afterwards I split rest of the group in two. One with younger students and another with older students.

I had the honor for to participated the second time at this prestigous festival. My video work Defintion of Space II was screened at BilbaoArte. Urazurrutia, 32. Bilbao on September 13^th

Definition of Space II belongs to my Taiwan made series.The festival itself will contiune until September 28^th with a intenational selection of very interesting films, videos and workshops.

Sunrise Memories at Suburbinale - an Austrian Premiere

A new film festival in Austria with a not so common theme. The films and video´s of the „Suburbinale“ Filmfestival reflecting the challenges and chances of suburban areas. One of my Taiwan video´s „ Sunrise Memories“ has it Austrian Permiere at 15th of September 2017 at 18.15 h.

4 km long hiking trail

LandArt Diessen is a biennial Land Art exhibition in the country of Hilver,in Brabant, Netherlands. The area around the river Reusel and the Turkaa forest are again the scene for this exhibition, every time with a different theme. The works are mainly made from biological material.

The Other Side (De Andere Kant)

A transition, a door, to create a connection. At the same time to recognize borders but also to cross borders. The connection and the boundary are not generally visible because, for example, they are interrupted by the stream. But there is also a contrast of silence, bound, but on the other hand there is the movement of the water and the rhythm of the installation. , The stream, the trees, the shore become a part of the installation.

I chose the following materials: colored jute, because color plays an important role in all my installations. Bamboo is another material I've used. With the relatively straight grown bamboo I wanted to create a contrast

RichterFest 2017 is a interdisciplinary festival which includes audio, animation, performance, music  documentations, media, net-art, experimental movies and video art. The location is the well known Science and Art which combines science and art through the means of  exhibitions, events and workshops. 

By this occasion my video Night, Street, Lantern, Pharmacy - Ночь, улица, фонарь, аптека, will be for the first time presented on a festival and the public.
