The exhibition "tRaum" is dedicated to the artistic exploration of the tension between standardized reality and inner imagination. The German title and theme of the exhibition deliberately play with the ambiguity of "dream" as a desired image and "space" as a place of retreat, freedom, and development. In times of increasing regulation by education systems, labor markets, and societal expectations, longings arise for alternatives, for scope for personal development, for utopias – for "tRaum." The exhibition explores how creative and fantastical works can emerge in precisely these in-between spaces – where leisure, imagination, and culture intersect. The physical concept of space is also addressed: space is not only a measurable quantity, but also a subjective experience. Where reality and perception intertwine, the question arises: When is something real—and when is it a dream?
