VILOMAH: Hidden Loss & Untold Futures is an exhibition exploring creative responses to emotional, social, cultural & politically-impacted experiences of pregnancy loss, baby loss & infertility.
Motivations: These losses are often hidden away and experienced as a taboo subject, which can lead to a loss feeling minimized-bringing added hurt & pain. As well as a creative & expressive outlet for a difficult subject, this exhibition aims to bring awareness and shed light on the reality of how these losses are experienced across society, culture & history.
Curator: Alice Mary Williamson Jelaska
Sometimes I see a shadow in the room. A sign of our child which didn't have a chance to be born 32 years ago. 32 years is a long time, but as I said I still see sometimes I see the shadow in the room. In this years the shadow was growing up. From an unborn baby to an adult.

The prints reflecting my issues with my Self and the thoughts of... To bring rest and peace to a troubled mind within a complex world and... To bring the mind and heart to focus on the essentials
BAM (Buddhist art meditations) is an journal for exchanging ideas on connections between creative and Buddhist practice. It mainly showcases original, personal, creative interpretations of “Buddhist Art”.
Due to my years of living in the Far East I dealt also with Zen Buddhism. For myself I see Zen Buddhism more as a philosophy and less as a religion. Up to day, this has influenced my artistic visions, partly consciously and partly unconsciously

"Windows & Mirrors" with Anne Rosenbaum presented in Toronto at “REFLECTION” MIA2023 Moving-Image-Arts International Short Film Festival
Moving-Image-Arts is a juried showcase of recent short independent films and videos from around the world that creatively explore a certain theme. This year, that theme is REFLECTION. Just as the film strip reflects light from a lens and exposes an image, these 15 films hold a mirror up to our challenging and ever-changing world and reveal new ways of seeing.
This year festival took place on March 30th, 7pm in-person (for the first time since 2020!) at the School of Image Arts at Toronto Metropolitan University, tickets free of charge. We are also continue to offer our program online to be available from March 30th at 7pm until April 6th and is totally free to view. Online attendees just follow the vimeo link along with a password to watch within the above dates.

"The State of The World " always means a summarizing view, the definition of an interim balance, which presupposes an occupation, an analysis, one's own positioning. For the first exhibition of the season, the Kunstverein was calling for analogue (non-digital) print work, such as, woodcuts, linocuts, silkscreen Between horror and hope, hesitation and fearlessness, political view and individual life perspective, scientifically based or subjectively meandering - we want to unfold a panopticon from very different perspectives.
